Regional Champions!

The Patoka Junior High Baseball team won Regionals last Friday night against Rome.

They will be playing in the State Championship on Saturday, September 29th at 3:30 pm, in Coulterville, IL!  Below is an article from the local radio station, WJBD.

After the game, the team celebrated at McDonald's.  The bus was escorted through Patoka by firetrucks.  A parade of cars followed the bus through town.  Even though it was raining, the boys had a great time and it was fun sharing in the excitement!

3 Months

Summer Recap

The big boys have a new toy!  Their dad surprised them after he bought it at an auction.

 

 

 

 

  The sweet things in life!  I love to watch him sleep.

 

We bought a swing for the front porch.

Dane and I spent a lot of time swinging this summer (after the heat wave ended). 

 

We spent a day at Vandalia Lake.  The kids enjoyed swimming and tubing.

12 weeks old!

2 Months

At his 2 month checkup, he received 3 shots in the legs and 1 oral vaccination (no fun!).

He weighed 11 lb, 12 oz. and was 23 inches long.

He was in the 50th percentile for weight and height.

The doctor said he is doing great!

Precious

This precious boy of ours is smiling and cooing and just as sweet as he can be!  We are so blessed!

July and August

 The last few months have gone by so quickly.

 

My grandparents came up from Kentucky (end of July) after Wyatt was born to visit the new babies.  They stopped at our house before we went to church on Sunday morning to see Dane and take Hunter and Beau with them to Amy and Phil's.  Dane and I went up after church.

It's hard to believe that it is already September.  The summer went by so fast this year.  Now we are into baseball and school.  More posts to come on our activities.
