The gap is a "little" wider...
Hunter pulled out his 2nd tooth at school today. It was really loose and we worked on it some last night and this morning. He said he was eating lunch and it loosened up more, so he went to the nurse's office, but she wasn't there, so the assistant principal helped him pull it out. I'm sure she was thrilled! I wonder if my mom has pulled out some teeth at school? Anyway, he was really excited about it...

A little late...Happy St. Patrick's Day!
Hunter and Beau had fun on St. Patrick's Day last week. Beau decorated a bottle and left it out overnight and a Leprechaun snuck in our house and filled it with green juice! Beau had to report anything else that the Leprechaun did while at our house - he left crumbs on our floor! Apparently in Hunter's classroom, while the children were at lunch and recess, a Leprechaun came in and moved things around. He moved items on their desks and also things in the room! I don't recall so much activity on St. Patrick's Day from my school days, but the kids sure had fun! Also, in this day, you get into a lot of trouble for pinching at school!

Happy Anniversary!
Wow! What a great way to celebrate your anniversary, with the first day of Spring. Too bad the weather won't be quite as nice as earlier this week, but it is still better than 30's.
Today marks the 10th anniversary of our marriage! It has been an amazing decade! I love you Jay and am so thankful for our life together. You are a wonderful husband and father.
Happy Anniversary!

Sale Pending!
The inspection on our house is complete and we are all clear! They moved the closing date to May 4th, but we will still be in our house through the end of May. We will pay them rent for the month of May. This new date works out better for us. This way we can have the closing out of the way and we get to stay here for Hunter to finish school!
We have a house to rent in Patoka. It is about 2 miles east of town.

Hunter lost his first tooth...
...in Kentucky!

His tooth has been loose for awhile. He was waiting to pull it out at school so that he could bring the "Tooth Bag" home. I spoke to his teacher and she assured me that if he pulled his tooth out at home he would still be able to bring home the bag. So he lost his took over the weekend and got to bring home the "Tooth Bag" on Monday! The tooth fairy visited both he and Maddy while in Kentucky, as Maddy wrote a note that her tooth she pulled out last week was still at home. Hunter received a note with some money that said he could take his tooth home to Illinois and put it under his pillow at home. So he did and the tooth fairy came to Illinois on Sunday night! We learned that the tooth fairy is a little more generous in Kentucky!
More Cousin Time
We stopped in Patoka on our way home from KY and visited with cousin Sam. He is so cute and just walks around like such a big boy. He loves to look out the windows at the cows. He would say "moo moo" in the sweetest voice when he wanted to look for the cows!

We're going to Kentucky, we're going to the Farm...
We visited my grandparents in Kentucky over the weekend. The kids had a super time. My sister and her family and my dad and stepmom were there too. We took lots of pictures on Daffodil Hill. It's a beautiful place that we all love to check out if we are there at the right time of the year. In another 2 weeks or so, it will probably be in full bloom. All of the children loved picking the flowers! Hunter and Beau enjoyed lots of cousin time, grandparent time and driving the golf cart!

We have a contract on our house. We are set to close May 29th. We do have a house to rent in Patoka when we are ready to start moving. Things are falling right into place and we thank God for taking care of us!
