Baby Dane is here!

Jay and I welcomed our sweet little boy Dane Michael Jolliff on Monday, June 25, 2012 at 8:47 pm.  He is perfect!  He weighed 8 lb., 1 oz. and was 20 in long.  His big brothers are totally in love and so are we.  God is so awesome and we give him thanks and praise for our newest blessing!

39 weeks and counting...

I am almost 40 weeks and this little one seems to be in no hurry!  This is the first baby we have had to wait this long for, so it has been a challenging week for us.  We are patiently waiting for our new baby to make an appearance.  And we know that God has a plan and everything will work out accordingly!

At my appointment this week, I had dilated a litte more, but am still not ready.  I have an appointment on Monday to see where things are and perhaps we will be that much closer to meeting our precious little miracle!  We are SO excited!

Dear Baby Jolliff

Dear Baby Jolliff,


Mommy, Daddy, Hunter and Beau are anxiously awaiting for your arrival!  We cannot wait to meet you and hold you and kiss you and love on you!  Daddy thought you would be here by now, but we will wait until you are ready (or until the doctor says you are ready!).

Mommy has been very busy this week.  The bags are packed, your bed is ready, the house is fairly picked up and clean, laundry is caught up, a few meals in the freezer...maybe we are too ready.  Definately some nesting going on around here.  You enjoyed the pool with Mommy today, cleaned it some and relaxed on a raft too.   Your Daddy, Brothers and Papa went golfing for the afternoon.  Everyone is keeping busy, which helps the time to pass.

We love you and are so excited that you will be here very soon!  Hopefully in the next 8 days!

It's Official!

I copied this from my sister-in-law.  It's official, the milk will expire after my due date!

We hope our baby decides to arrive before the 26th!

I had a checkup yesterday and there is not much change from last week.  My doctor thinks I will probably go before my due date.  She was not concerned with the baby's weight and thinks he or she will be an average sized baby and not too big.  So we are just waiting to see when this little one will arrive!  10 more days or more or less!  :)

2 weeks to go...or not?

Today is two weeks from my due date.  We are patiently waiting!  Seriously, I feel good and am not sure that I am really ready yet.  I keep saying that to myself.  I have the bags packed, carseat ready to go, so we are ready.  But I want the baby to be ready too.  So we will wait as long as he or she wants.  A lot can still happen in two weeks.  The boys are asking every day, if baby is coming today.  :)  They are excited too!

Doctor Appointment

I had my weekly checkup today and everything is still the same, measuring on schedule,

and it doesn't appear that baby is going to be ready anytime soon!

Hunter and Beau went with us today since we had the ultrasound.  We did get a few pictures.

After the appointment, we met up with our old neighbor, Al, for lunch in Highland.  And then went to his house afterwards to visit.  We had a nice time and it was fun to see our old house.  Looks the same and whoever did their landscaping is awesome!  :)

37 Weeks

Only 3 weeks to go and I am still feeling good!  I am thankful that I can walk almost every day, although it does take me a little bit longer to walk the same distance!  :)

We have our last ultrasound this week and I'm looking forward to seeing our baby one more time on the video screen.  Everything has been going great and I have been measuring right on schedule each week.  We are all getting anxious to meet our new baby!

We have been keeping busy with our work schedules and baseball.  The boys have started summer ball and are enjoying the new pool.  It will be great to have this summer!  We also went to a Cardinal's game recently.
