Time for Easter Eggs!
Hunter and Beau painted some eggs yesterday after school. They love to do this every year and I'm glad it's still fun to them.

Lovin this weather!
We enjoyed some basketball and catch Wednesday evening. And grilling out! Hope this weather is here to stay.
All roads lead home...
Zeb is putting in the culvert for the road to our new home.
Before the rock
After the rock
Yeah! We are starting to build in the next month, we hope!

Hunter is 8!
One of the best things about being 8...no more car seats! Hunter talked about it the last few weeks before his birthday and couldn't wait until his birthday so he didn't have to sit in the booster.
Hunter had a fun party on the 27th at the Civic Center in Patoka. About 5 friends from school and 4 cousins were there. The kids enjoyed playing basketball, painting and making balls out of balloons and lentils.
Cake Lady - Grandma Jessica - made some awesome cakes. One was a basketball and another a basketball jersey with Hunter's name and the Patoka Warrior colors.
Hunter's favorite birthday present was his Bow. He is really good at shooting it too. He's been practicing almost every night after school. Last Wednesday he wanted to know if I would pick them up at Gigi's, and if I would bring his boots there so that he could change on the way home and be ready to shoot as soon as we got there!
Hunter is such a wonderful blessing to our family. We are so thankful that God allowed us to be his parents and that we have enjoyed 8 special years with him. He is smart, loves Math (wonder why?), caring and kind. He loves to help his Dad and Papa on the farm with whatever projects they have. He loves to play Skip-Bo with Grandma and Mom and Gigi. He is a great kid and we love him so much! He also is very helpful with his brother, Beau, and likes to help him learn new things. We look forward to many more special years.
