We spent the weekend cleaning house and still have so much to do! What a gorgeous weekend we had. Jay and the boys enjoyed some t-ball/baseball outside on Saturday. Hunter is learning how to stack charcoal for the grill and Beau did some mowing. Sunday we ran errands and then took the boys bowling. Hunter has been asking to go for a few weeks. They had a lot of fun! Another fun week at work (not really), but back to work we go.

We have been busy preparing for the big move and our house closing on May 4th. I have been going through tub after tub after tub of items and getting rid of a lot. It is truly amazing how much "stuff" one accumulates in 5 years. I took some things over to a friend's yard sale tonight and will go back in the morning to help and hopefully take more junk! One good thing about moving is that you tend to get rid of a lot of things you really won't miss.

Jay and I ran last weekend in the St. Louis half marathon. I ran the Marathon relay with 3 other gals, each running about 6 miles. It was rainy all day, but not bad during the run. None of us cared as everyone else around you was soaking wet. Our team finished in 4:47. Jay ran the half marathon and did well for having to deal with knee pain. He ran about the first 6 miles and then walked some because his knee started hurting. It's better now, but was hurting him really bad on Monday. Here is a link to some of the photos:

More Easter Fun

Sunday we went to early church and then to my grandparent's for Easter in Vandalia. Hunter and Beau enjoyed another Easter egg hunt with their cousins, Maddy, Ella and Owen.

Happy Easter!

Yesterday we celebrated Easter at the Jolliff's. We had delicious food and enjoyed the gorgeous weather all afternoon. The cousins had a lot of fun riding in the mule and gator, playing wiffle ball and kick ball and just being on the farm. Sam is getting so big and seemed to enjoy playing with his cousins, following them around and doing what they did. Hunter and Beau also tried flying their new kites from Sam. They did really good flying them. Oh yeah, almost forgot, the Easter egg hunt! The boys had a great time hunting eggs on the farm and even helped cousin Sam find some too. Happy Easter everyone!

Four Little Fishermen

We enjoyed a much warmer day on Saturday than yesterday and today! Hopefully after this week, the warm weather will be here to stay! Hunter and Beau got to experience their first Ramsey Community Sale last weekend. We walked the streets for about an hour, checked out all of the goodies, ducks, chicks and rabbits and headed to Nana & Papa's for some fishing and a hike to the creek. The kids enjoyed walking around in the woods and on the sand. My sister and I were able to capture a few good pictures, with some persuasion!

Kindergarten Registration?!?!

Can it be? Beau is starting Kindergarten already? Where has the time gone? I took Beau to Patoka this week to register. He is excited to start school in Patoka. We got to visit Aunt Mindy at school too. He was also excited to have the day off, playing with Gigi, since I had to come back home and work.
