Video at Snowshoe

Sorry about the video before. It only uploaded a picture of the video. We took the kids for a quick swim at the pool and I had to rush out! The pool is neat. Indoor and outdoor and a hot tub outside! We mostly enjoyed the hot tub. Anyway I'm still trying to upload the video.

Merry Christmas everyone!

Merry Christmas from Snowshoe Mountain, WV

We are spending Christmas in the mountains of West Virginia. Snowshoe is about 3 1/2 hours from my Dad's house. We had a great day trying out the slopes. The kids took lessons and Amy and I did too. The guys had fun on their own skiing. Amy and I felt like we learned a lot at our lesson and were glad we took them. The weather was "less than ideal" as Jay put it, but we still had fun. They are calling for no rain/wind and sunshine tomorrow, so we are looking forward to a better day. Happy Birthday Jesus!

Sam at our house!

Last Friday we had the pleasure of keeping our nephew Sam overnight. It was so much fun watching Sam and his cousins play together. They enjoyed every minute of it. Hunter and Beau were so excited to have Sam as our house guest. We had to get out the air mattress for them to sleep on. Saturday morning we headed to Lunch with Santa at the American Legion. And then Sam's Grandma and Grandpa Purcell (his Mommy's parents) picked him up for the rest of the weekend. Thank you Hap and Elizabeth for the opportunity. We would love to have Sam (and Andrew) anytime!

Lunch with Santa

Last Saturday was lunch with Santa in Patoka. The boys did great for their photo!

Little Sam wasn't too sure about Santa.

But we did get one of all three boys together!

Beau had lots of questions for Santa and also gave him his list.

Hunter asking Santa for a present.

Catching up!

I'm not sure where to begin, since it has been awhile again! We had a great Thanksgiving with Jay's family and Jay and Hunter have been hunting a lot. Luckily I still have one child that likes to stay home with Mommy, but that won't last much longer!

Hunter was so dedicated to hunting this year. First season, he went with Dad Friday, Saturday and Sunday early in the morning. He stayed out all day on Fri and Sat, but by Sunday, he was ready to come home after an hour. I couldn't believe he stayed out there all day. Unfortunately we don't have any deer pictures this year as Daddy did not get one. He's still trying this weekend with his muzzleloader and of course bow hunting when he can.

Beau and I raked some leaves and he and Max played in them

Here's the best family photo I have from Thanksgiving. It was great seeing everyone!
