The Jolliff Family: July 2012

One Month!

Our baby is one month old today. Dane, you are such a blessing to our family! We thank God for you every day!

Dane weighs about 10 pounds and is about 22 inches long. He is awake more during the day and is sleeping good at night. He wakes up about two times during the night to nurse and goes right back to sleep. He is smiling at us and really wants to talk. He has made a few "oh" sounds. He is such a good baby and a wonderful addition to our family! Jay and I can't imagine our lives without our three little guys and love them so much!

Dane adores his brothers and they adore him. His big brothers are a wonderful help at home. It is a lot different having a new baby with two older siblings than having a new baby with a 2 year old! I am thankful for having the summer off with the big boys this year. I do wish my time off from work would slow down. :)

My sister and her husband welcomed their first son, Wyatt Jason Moreland, on July 15, 2012. He weighed 9 lbs. 5 oz. and was 21 in. long. His big sisters adore him!

We got to meet Wyatt when he was two days old. I think Wyatt and Dane are going to be great little buddies!

A New Little Prince

Our church hosted a baby shower for us and it was so nice! The decorations were adorable. The theme was A New Little Prince. They even made a onesie with Dane's name on it! So cute!

Dane received a lot of nice gifts. He has plenty of clothes! We are so thankful for our church family and feel so very blessed to be a part of our church. On Sunday morning, our pastor asked us to come forward as they welcomed Baby Dane. He prayed for him and our family. It was very touching and meant a lot to us.

8 Years Old!

Beau had a birthday a few weeks ago. It's hard to believe that he is 8! Beau is such a blessing to our family. He is always happy and fun to talk to. He keeps us smiling and comes up with the funniest things. About a week after we brought Dane home, Beau told me that he wanted to sleep in our room, so that he would hear Dane wake up and could hold him in the night when he was crying. Needless to say, Beau did not wake up that night!
